Currently, the Indian education system for professional courses such as engineering, medicine, business administration, etc., defines the eligibility by entrances exams for 3 to 6 hours with or without group discussions and interviews. In summary, it appears that the talent in India is quite scarce/limited, which requires sorting through difficult entrance exams. The pattern of the existing exams are also meant to find out good analytical and temperamental skills alone.
We, at Sharda Foundation, strongly believe that talent in India is rather abundant and the selection should focus more on finding Zeal in students than analytical/temperamental skills alone.
In this regard, we would like to conduct an online survey to learn directly from the stake holders, especially, the students who think they have the capabilities to do good but not getting opportunities to nurture their talent to make this path of success on their own.
Hence, it is not giving an opportunity to selector to assess the real capability of the candidates psychologically and socially and higher education institution has become an epitome of social recognition rather that the nurturing ground of deserving individuals.
Sharda foundation believes that if right kind of facilities and support is given to the candidates with zeal, they can achieve their goals in future. Therefore, main aim is to nurture the talent so selected and create a human being who lays his path to success.
Sharda Foundation intends to understand the views of stake holders in higher education involving zeal of individual, skill and certificate or degree to develop a curriculum for their future venture in skill and higher education.
